Perspective Matters

Personal (2020)

In an exploration of the letterform, this project digitized a condensed woodblock typeface and created a vinyl instillation. I further stretched each letter to be 6 feet in height, to be placed in the long hallway outside of the graduate studio, playing with perspective. The phrase perspective matters reads differently as you move through the hallway. Up close the letterforms almost create a small room within the hallway. This project explores form and how it can change the meaning of space and place.
