This book explores the place of Edinburgh’s Royal Mile and translation of place into a book form. The inspiration of this book lies int the semi-hidden closes, the narrow alleyways branching off the main street. The accordion book slowly builds, like the hill of the street, and hidden in each section is a slide-out that lists all the closes that branch off that section of the Royal Mile.
